Inventory Management Template | Airtable + Zite

One place to run inventory

You are tracking inventory in spreadsheets. Reorders happen when you run out, not before. Nobody knows what is actually in stock without walking to the warehouse.

This gives you one place to manage products, purchasing, sales, and stock movement.

The App

The interface your team actually uses: products, stock levels, purchase orders, sales orders, and day-to-day inventory updates.

The Backend

The Airtable base underneath it all: products, suppliers, purchase orders, sales orders, and automations that keep stock levels updated.

What’s included

Product catalog

Track products with SKU, pricing, categories, images, and status. Keep cost and retail pricing visible in one place and preserve order history even when products are discontinued.

Stock management

See current stock levels across products, define reorder points, and flag low-stock items automatically. Manual adjustments are supported when physical counts do not match system records.

Purchase orders

Create purchase orders for suppliers, add line items, track totals, and receive stock against partial or full shipments. When a PO is received, inventory updates automatically.

Sales orders

Create customer orders, check available stock before shipment, and track each order from processing to delivery. When an order ships, inventory decreases automatically.

Supplier and customer records

Keep contact details, payment terms, and order history linked to the right records so you can see every PO for a supplier or every order for a customer.

Automations

Low stock alerts, stock adjustments from received purchase orders, stock reductions from shipped sales orders, and automatic totals all run in the background.

Questions we hear often

Does stock update automatically?

Yes. Receive a purchase order and stock increases. Ship a sales order and stock decreases. Airtable automations handle the update.

Can I track multiple warehouses?

Not in this version. This template handles one location. Multi-warehouse support can be added in a custom build.

Does it connect to Shopify?

Not out of the box. Custom builds can add e-commerce sync through Airtable and an automation layer.

Can I import my product list?

Yes. Airtable supports CSV import, so most existing product catalogs can be brought in quickly.

What if I only need purchasing, not sales?

That is fine. The system is modular. You can use the product and purchasing side without using sales orders.

What if I break something?

If you rebuild it in your own stack, it is yours to modify. Add fields, remove workflows, simplify it, or extend it.

How does this compare to inFlow or Zoho Inventory?

Those are SaaS products. This is an inventory system you own. Same core logic, but you control the fields, workflows, and integrations.

Is this also a purchase order tracker?

Yes. It handles the full purchasing cycle from PO creation through receiving stock.
